Welcome to A Tribute In Motion, a site dedicated to the life and works of James Douglas Morrison. This site has come about as an offshoot of Nick Jackson’s brilliant idea of having a poetry reading in Paris as a tribute to Morrison. The first such event took place in July 2005 and was organised by both Nick and Stuart Henderson; it was an outstanding success and was a thoroughly enjoyable way to while away a few hours on a sunny Parisian afternoon.

The object of this site is to give everybody who has been touched in some way or another by Jim a chance to share the creative process that he has helped to nurture in all of us. If you have any art, poetry or works of any description you would like to share feel free to send it on. For those that have yet to take up a pen or a brush in the pursuit of creativity, maybe you would like to share some of your favourite poetry or art and let us know how you feel about it and where it takes you.
